Statement by Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority Fujairah has experienced a cultural, artistic and social movement since the last century. Cultural seminars and conferences have been held, featuring participation from high-level cultural figures across the Arab world. In addition, Fujairah has nurtured generations of active intellectuals at both the local and international levels . With the establishment of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority by an Emiri decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah in 2006, and under his lofty and diligent directives, Fujairah has continued its path to build a coherent, well-structured and scientifically codified cultural, media, artistic and social renaissance. This journey has been further enriched with new initiatives and insights by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. Fujairah aims to be a global destination for culture, a media leader, and an incubator for creativity. Since its establishment, the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority has been dedicated to establishing concepts and disseminating cultures that deepen community awareness, elevating its culture and aspirations towards a promising future. In addition, it provide opportunities for the community to meet the other and learn about its culture, while also introducing them to local culture, with all its authentic values and the rich traditions of Arab customs. Statement by His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Yamahi, Executive Director of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority Fujairah Culture and Media Authority operates in line with the comprehensive vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and with the diligent follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. Fujairah's mission is to promote the cultural and media identity of Fujairah and promote it through a creative and innovative approaches, as well as to develop talented and creative individuals. In line with its own strategic vision and within the broader media and cultural vision of the State, the Authority seeks to develop mechanisms for working with local community institutions involved in culture, arts, theater, and creative work in all its forms to develop the creative aspects of youth. In addiiton, it aims to create shared spaces for intergenerational dialogue and constructive discussion, in an effort to create an educated and aware national of the developments of the times, its new culture, its reality , and a believer in its national identity, its rising homeland, as well as its wise leadership. The Fujairah Culture and Media Authority is moving forward to develop its human cadres, and upgrade its capabilities and infrastructure in all aspects of cultural, creative, television, radio and community-related work.
