Paris award for Hamad

FUJAIRAH - The Arab Institute in
Paris has awarded the Gold Medal to His Highness
Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the
Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for the
effective role he played in supporting culture and
intellectual communication between the Arab world
and Europe. Speaking on the occasion, the Director
of the Arab Institute, Mukhtar Talib bin Deyab,
lauded the effective role of the UAE under the
leadership of the President, His Highness Shaikh
Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Shaikh Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister
of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in preserving
national heritage and developing innovation and
culture communications. Nasir Al Yamahi, Chairman of
Fujairah Club and head of Fujairah Media Office,
congratulated Shaikh Hamad and pointed out that the
medal is a clear reflection of his great role in the
field of cultural. The Deputy Director of Fujairah
Municipality, Mohammed Saif Al Afkham, said the
awarding of the Gold Medal to Shaikh Hamad
highlights the great support he offers for cultural
development. Khalid Al Mazroee, Director of Fujairah
Airport, said the honouring of Shaikh Hamad is a
pride for all citizens, and it reflects the cultural
and intellectual depth of His Highness. |
